Ali Tareen is a businessman and Social Entrepreneur. Focused on bringing change to South Punjab through his NGO and Cricket Project. He is a son of Famous politician Jahangir Tareen who recently got elected as PTI MNA Candidate for by election in NA-154.
Ali Tareen is an only son of famous PTI Politician Jahangir Tareen who is currently doing MBA From Oxford university, London. He has three siblings including Seher Tareen, Meher Tareen and Mariam Tareen. He got engaged in 2013 to Bisma Ahmad, he has a plan of getting married after completing his MBA. Apart from education he is also helping his father in his family business and he is also in contact with the people of Lodhran.He fully take part in social activities and also has his own social trust that’s why he is quite famous among people.
Jahangir Tareen Khan
Jahangir Tareen is a father of Ali Tareen. He is a Pakistani Politician and famous businessman. He is a one of the wealthiest politician in Pakistan. In 2002 he started his political career as a member of National Assembly of Pakistan. He was a special adviser on Agriculture and then in 2011 he joined the PTI and has a General Secretary. He has some sugar mills and farmland. In December 2017 he got Disqualified from his seat.
Saher Tareen is a sister of Ali Tareen. He is a new emerging talent in Pakistani Fashion industry, the designer is known for designing luxurious collection. Saher Tareen is an emerging new fashion designer and has showcased her chic prét collection at 10th PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2014. Recently, the designer revealed Luxury Pret Capsule Collection “Neo Nouveau ” inspired by the Art Nouveau Movement of the early twentieth century on Fashion Parade. The aim of the collection is to bring these elements together in an up to date and edgy way thereby merging high art with ready to wear fashion. Saher is the new face of Pakistan fashion industry and she has received welcoming response by the fashionistas in prét fashion landscape.
Meher Tareen, is a sister of Ali Tareen and Daughter of Jahangir Tareen. She is the publishing editor of Paperazzi magazine and the mother of two adorable babies.
Mariam is a freelance writer, editor and teacher from Lahore, Pakistan, with work experience in the development sector. She has a Master’s in Creative Writing from Royal Holloway, University of London. Her articles and reviews have appeared or are forthcoming in various publications, such as Litro Magazine, Book Riot, Bustle, and The Missing Slate, and her fiction in Bedford Square. Like many of you, she is currently working on at least one novel. She is also the founder of The Writing Room, which offers creative writing workshops for aspiring writers of all ages and at all stages of their writing journeys. She has previously developed and conducted a creative writing workshop for undergraduate students at the National College of Arts in Lahore. He recently came in Political field after the disqualification of his father Jahangir Tareen but he had been part of social development of Lodhran and South punjab from the past many years. He recently submitted his Nomination papers for NA 154. On 29th December 2017 he signed an MOU with Pakistan Blind Cricket Council to start Blind Cricket Leagues in South Punjab. He is actually trying to secure his Father’s seat who recently got disqualified.

Ali Khan Tareen, son of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawmaker Jahangir Tareen, has submitted nomination papers to contest by-election from NA-154, a National Assembly seat from Lodhran that fell vacant after the disqualification of his father on Supreme Court orders. “Although I have been working for social development of Lodhran and South Punjab for the past many years, becoming an MNA was never part of my plan. However, the people of Lodhran have become my family and upon their request, I have submitted my nomination papers for NA-154,” Ali tweeted on 28th December 2017. According to the schedule announced by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), 28th December was the last day for filing nomination papers; the list of candidates was displayed on 29th December but the scrutiny of nomination papers will be completed by January 5; and polling will be held on February 12.

Ali Tareen first time gave speech after got elected as PTI MNA Candidate for by election in NA-154. He said that many people including friends and Family got angry on this decision of joining politics, they asked me that what politics has given to you !! I said to them that why to bother that what politics has given to us because our concern should be on the people of Lodhra who gave us so much love and respect. He added that how we can forget that how we defeated PMLN in 2015 Elections during PMLN Government from 40,000 votes. That’s why we didn’t think for a second to leave the people of Lodhra. He make a promise with the people of Lodhra that i will serve them well and will never ever disappoint them.
Khan Ali Tareen, son of disqualified Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Jahangir Tareen, submitted nomination papers on Thursday. He wiill contest the by-poll on Lodhran’s NA-154 constituency.
Jahangir, formerly the PTI’s general secretary, lost his seat earlier this month.He was disqualified by the Supreme Court for not being ‘honest’ and ‘truthful’ as per Article 62 (1) (f) of the Constitution.
Ali, a foreign-educated businessman, entrepreneur and social worker based in Lahore and Lodhran, posted on Twitter today. That becoming an MNA was never part of his plan but he made the decision following the “request” of the people of Lodhran.
JKT had made the announcement of his son’s nomination on Wednesday during a rally in Lodhran.
The by-election schedule announced by the Election Commission of Pakistan, Thursday (today) is the last day of filing nomination papers. The scrutiny of papers would be completed by January 5, 2018 while polling would be held on February 12.
Interestingly, contesting against Ali will be Ameer Baloch, son of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s Siddique Baloch. Who contested against Jahangir Tareen in the 2013 general elections.
In the May 2013 general elections, Siddique defeated Jahangir in NA-154 by a margin of 10,000 votes.
However, Siddique was disqualified in August 2015 for possessing a fake degree. Jahangir then bagged the seat after defeating Siddique with a margin of around 35,000 votes.
