where selection will be made purely on suitability and merit:-
1. Following posts will be filled against the PC-I of Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIAP) Expansion Project Lahore:

S. NO. 1
Project Director (EG-09) (01 Position on Merit)
Contract: 02 years (Renewable)
Pay Scale: 78,900-7,890-236,700
Salary: Rs. 345,278/- per month (Negotiable)
QUALIFICATION  B.E / B.Sc / B.S in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering from a HEC recognized University with at least 2nd Division or equivalent CGPA
EXPERIENCE
 Minimum 20 years of experience with 10 years in similar capacity at administering and managing mega projects  Experience of handling negotiation management and conflict management issues effectively.  Experience in participating in high level operational initiative, infrastructure design/development & capital works follow-up  Experience of overseeing major roads, runways and airport terminal projects would be given extra weightage.
SKILLS
 Hands-on experience of Primevera and other Project Management tools & techniques  Having in-depth knowledge of infrastructure development of varied nature.  Possessing vision and leadership skills to plan, handle and manage mega infrastructure development projects with ability and interpersonal skill to lead a team of highly experienced and professional staff. AGE  Maximum 57 years (including all age relaxations)

QUALIFICATION
 B.E / B.Sc / B.S in Electrical / Mechanical from HEC Recognized University with at least 2nd Division or equivalent CGPA  Must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC)
EXPERIENCE
 Minimum 15 years of experience with 10 years in similar capacity in large scale Projects  Experience in planning, designing, estimation and execution of Electrical / Mechanical installations.  Experience in tender scrutiny / technical analysis / evaluation of bids / tenders pertaining to procurement of Electrical / Mechanical. equipments
SKILLS
 Having in-depth knowledge of PPRA and CPWD procedures and codes.  Possessing skills of efficient Project Management  Vision & leadership skills to lead the teams at the project  Having ability to execute the contracts within the stipulated timelines.  Strong analytical, creative, presentation and management abilities. AGE  Maximum 28 years

Terms of Reference

i) Age Relaxation will be allowed to the applicants for the posts mentioned at S. No 5 to S. No 8 as per Federal Govt. rules. The same is available at CAA Website.

ii) Test / Interview will be conducted at Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta for which separate notices will be issued (depending on the number of candidates).

iii) The candidates to be called for the interview have to produce original documents for necessary verification while appearing for the interview.

iv) No TA / DA is admissible for test / interview.

v) Appointment will be subject to CAA’s medical fitness standards.

vi) Selected candidates will be required to serve anywhere in Pakistan as per requirement of CAA

vii) Government servants / employees of autonomous bodies / corporations will be required to submit NOC from current employer before interview.

viii) Successful candidates for the post of Assistant Director Electronics will have to execute a surety bond of Rs. 2,500,000/- (Rupees Two Million Five Hundred Thousand) for serving at least 10 years in Civil Aviation Authority.

ix) Fake / False information and any attempt to influence the selection process will be considered as a definite disqualification for current as well as future recruitment in CAA, even if the candidate is otherwise qualified.

x) In case, any educational documents or any other document provided by the applicants is found incorrect / fake / bogus at any stage, the services of selected candidate will be terminated immediately and he / she will be blacklisted in future.
